Who We Are
Greenleaf Friends Academy was established in 1908 by early Quaker pioneers to provide an education in an atmosphere infused with faith, traditional family values, and a strong work ethic. The mission to inspire students to think clearly, act responsibly and serve passionately still resonates within the walls of the Academy and goes well beyond into the community. Over a hundred years later, today’s culture is still hungry for this message.
Over the past 110 years, GFA has grown into a strong college preparatory school with a vibrant co-curricular activities program. Athletic teams, music, fine arts, student government and leadership training are several examples of an active student life. Fully accredited by the Idaho State Department of Education and AdvancEd, GFA offers opportunities in science, math, language arts, social studies, fine arts, and technology, as well as dual college credit classes. In addition to the academic offerings, students can learn practical life skills including sewing, cooking, woodworking, gardening, and concepts of construction.
The cost is surprisingly affordable with tuition and scholarship assistance available. We are conveniently located just 5 miles west of Caldwell. Please contact our office today, to schedule a family tour or “Shadow Day” at Greenleaf Friends Academy.
