WE LEFT THE FEDERALLY REGULATED SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM FOR A REASON, to implement healthier meal standards through our new privately funded “FREEDOM TO EAT WELL” program.  Our ability to continue this new approach WAS SEVERELY DISRUPTED by recent winter storms that resulted in significant ice and water damage to our kitchen facility.

Record-breaking winter storms of 2016-17 raged across southern Idaho and like many other local buildings the school was hit hard. Our school kitchen sustained major damage along with several classrooms. While the classrooms have been restored and are back in use, THE KITCHEN WAS A TOTAL LOSS!

Our food service staff has been simply amazing. For months, they have been preparing faculty and student meals in a nearby church, transporting food across sidewalks (rain or shine) and serving hot meals each day from the school’s tiny concession stand. OUR STUDENTS NEED YOUR HELP! Total renovation and restoration of our school kitchen is estimated at $175,000. This amount lies well outside of our school’s budget so we are reaching out to those who value both children’s health, and freedom from the overreach of Federal Government programs.

Please consider donating to this very worthy cause, or become our CAMPAIGN CHAMPION and fully fund these renovations for the opportunity of renaming our Dining Hall. We would be honored to feature your NAME or BUSINESS IMAGE at the entrance of the new facility for posterity. We hope you will join us in our FREEDOM TO EAT WELL campaign!
